DEMO DERBY & CountY faiR

After visiting Coulee Dam & Dry Falls we dropped Yuhei & Jacy off at the County Fair !! I bought them both all-you-care-to-ride passes & let me tell you - Yuhei rode on every ride three to four times. Jacy got a little ill! I rushed home - because Yuhei was leaving at 2 a.m. that evening & copied all of these pictures onto a cd for him. He was so thankful to get some more pictures - these kids just could not get enough pictures!!! HA!! Yup! Then Steve finished up work & we all went to the demo derby! WHAT A NIGHT!! The weather again was near perfect, we sat by some friends & just really enjoyed the evening. Trent, trevor, steve, dylan were all betting (ok not really betting) on which car would win each race. Then it was on! Crashing, smashing, upside down cars, a couple of engine fires, blown out tires, etc. TRENT & TREVOR had a blast - ok, steve & I had a super duper fun time also. The fans were so much fun to watch - they are CRAaaaazzzzzzyyyyyyyyy!

after the derby Yuhei wanted to go to Wal Mart aGAIN! We had spent the previous evening there for TWO HOURS - let me say that again TWO HOURS! After the first hour - we crashed on the bench at Wal Mart & just texted poor Jacy who was still chasing Yuhei around EVERyWHERE!!!

So, finally got yuhei packed - his luggage was 16 lbs overweight. Must have been that bowling pin that tipped it over the scales. But, we just DIDN't CARE & told Yuhei he would need to figure it out at the airport (i don't think he understood that part) but, I'm sure it was all fixed later! When we got to the hotel to drop him off - he forgot his jacket in his luggage & wanted to open up his luggage - we all yelled at the same time "NOOOOOOOO!" So funny!

the next week after the derby - trent & trevor pull out their remote cars & proceeded to tape nails & pencils all over their remote cars & then pretended to be derby cars & smash into one another. So CUTE!!!

And of course Steve wants to get a beater car & race in the derby next year!
