Oh, Yellowstone - you make me smile. I love going to Yellowstone. Yes, it is a lot of driving & no sleep. But, we wouldn't change it for ANYTHING! Howard & Gayla have been taking us to Yellowstone for over twenty years. That is a LOT of trips to Yellowstone. We have stayed in every part of Yellowstone. The cabins at the Lake, Canyon cabins, Old Faithful Inn, cabins at Old Faithful Inn, Mammoth cabins, etc. We LOVE it! Another year, another super fun, exhausting trip with the
cRaZy Jones family. Thanks Howard and Gayla - for so many wonderful, cherished, fun memories. We LOVE the Jones Yellowstone tradition.

The Old Faithful Inn was under renovation for several years and it now has been open for a couple of years. We LOVE just sitting in the rocking chairs and observing the coming and goings of all the people making their way through this beautiful old Inn. My favorite memories are sitting up in the lobbies and playing Rook with the family. I also love the HUGE fireplace, the beautiful windows so high up and the majestic logs that the whole Inn was built out of. It truly is an amazing building!

Here are the balconies that we would sit up on and play board games and card games. Just sitting and rocking and just
chillin out on the beautiful old chairs. I LOVE it!

Always on time! Old Faithful!

Walking the plank

I LOVE these pictures! Waiting for Old Faithful. Being silly & enjoying every
stinkin moment together as a family.

the
mosquito's were out of CONTROL!

a HUGE herd of buffalo as we were making our way out of the park. All of the cute baby
bi sons.

RUNNING down the road, he cut right behind our car & I thought he was going to ram us. Almost peep my pants.

This year was a difficult year for Trevor. He was on the all star baseball team & we found out that the guy in charge of all of the all star's would have kicked
trevor off the team if he would have left to go to Yellowstone with us. So, we had to leave him here with his coach. He had a wonderful time, kept his starting spot & we had to buy his love with this grizzly bear. It
reallY stressed me out leaving him here. But, it all worked out & Trevor was grateful for his opportunity to play the whole state tournament. I MISSED my little
trevor ever and had to call him a TON to make sure he was
ok. Even got a cold sore on my lip from stressing about him. Next time he is coming to YELLOWSTONE with us!
WEll, another trip - and a ton more pictures coming your way. Hope you enjoy them all. Will be playing catch up AGAIN, because our summer has been INSANE!! Now, off to clean out our storage shed - after getting my walking in. Got three miles done & feeling great! LOVE IT!

We went with my parent's and sisters to Yellowstone in 2002. We stayed at the Old Faithful Inn. When we checked in the guy said our rooms didn't have TV's, to which I responded "What! What are we supposed to do here? " My mom about died! Ha! The desk clerk said "Um, this is Yellowstone, I think you will be surprised how busy you will be!" Of course, by the end of the trip, totally understood what he meant. Loved it!
Looks like you had a great time!
That Montana sign......what the heck? Ha!
