Spokane WA, Extreme PowerSports!

Steve in the lead!
middle of the pack #415

Just out of the gate

On the gate!

Trent did not race. He was exhausted from a week of little sleep & lots of fun!
Had a really fun Sat.
Trent got home from Scout camp with some funny Trent stories! He was also covered from head to toe in dirt (he fingernails were filthy!) & smelled like campfire! HE earned rifle, woodcarving, leather, wilderness survivor, e-prep, indian war. The weather was really nice for them all week (i worry!) and he was exHaUsted!! So, we rushed up to Spokane WA for an evening motocross race. We didn't know there were going to be some professional racers there - so it made for a really fun night of amazing racing! Steve placed first in the first moto & then slid out in the second moto. HE moto was 2nd so we were able to get out of there & be home by midnight. We probably wouldn't have been home to 4 in the morning if he hadn't had a 2nd spot race. There were a total of 15 motos. Whew! He also received a trophy! Great job STeve
the above picture is of Mike Alessi. If you go on YouTube and type in Mike Alessi you will see the most horrific crash - with Mike Alessi getting run over about 4-5 times. He has recovered from that crash, but had a little argument with another rider in practice & then after the argument went around a couple of corners and CRaSHED! Poor guy! He didn't race that night because of a head injury! But, it was fun watching his brother, Jeff & some more professional riders in the pro classes. Overall, a really fun race. Steve banged up his knee and elbow - but other then that did great!

the argument

these three cute boys all were on one motorcycle. Having a great time!
I LOVE this shot! Since Steve races so much, I decided to get a hobby while at the races & this is it! My photo's are getting better and better. Steve is flying through the air. Amazing that they all don't just crash & crash some more!

Steve almost getting passed over the finish line.
the pro class.
love all of the colors of bikes & gear.
