a BIG fish story!

Talk about a fish!
Here are some fun pictures of Sat. July 17th. Steve & I left WA & drove to Pendleton OR & stayed the night in a hotel - trying to get to Idaho so we could fish with the boys on Sat. We made it & got to play some Bingo, Foosball & Fish. Also, had the birthday party for Trevor in Malad. The fishing was so much fun. Trent & Trevor were making us laugh so hard. They were each trying all week to catch more fish then the other one. Trevor would yell to Trent, after Trent would get a bite - "I H A T E you!" But, he didn't say hate, just spelled it out for him. It was soooooo funny! Trevor also hates holding the fish. He got away without holding any fish all week with Grandpa, but Steve wouldn't have any of that. Trevor's dad made him hold the fish while Steve tried to get the hook out of the fish. If the hook was in too far, we kept the fish. If it wasn't, the fish got to live. It is a rough life! The boys were having the time of their lives showing off & catching fish after fish after fish. Thanks Grandpa for showing the boys such a fun time at the pond!
YUCK!!!
This is a marshmellow, a worm & then it was dipped into cake sparkles (the secret weapon!)

Took this shot across the pond. It was a perfect night for fishing. No wind, beautiful weather & family. Cannot get much better!

WE took the fish back to grandma's house & then the real work began. Steve - again made the boys CLEAN their fishes. Yuck - AGAIN!! Trent really hated pulling the guts out! I think he will think twice about catching 24 fish again! But, my MOM LOVES trout. So we froze the fish & took it to Morgan Reunion to my mom - so she can fry up the trout!
Cheese!
This fish had fallen into the dirt! Ewww! Look at the blood on Trevor's hand. I don't think he knew he had blood on his hand - he would have flipped out!
Trevor hated this part! And this part made us all laugh the most! Cute Trevor!

The boys had almost given up on fishing. WE have taken them out here in WA, but with no luck. (You need a boat!) So, now their fishing habit has been revived!
