Memorial Day is upon us & cannot believe June 1st is tomorrow!
The last couple of weeks have been very hectic!
WE PUT THE HOUSE UP FOR SALE!
Can you believe it? The market is SOOOOOOO SLOWWWWWW - it is going to take a LONNNNNGGGGGG time to sell (at least 6 months to a year) so we officially put it on the market. If it sells we will be renting. FUN TIMES! We just don't want to be committed into a house if something pops up. So, killing ourselves cleaning, painting, cleaning, weeding, lawn mowing, more weeding - getting the house ready for showings & such. There are a lot of homes on the market & we bought in peak - keep your fingers crossed for us. The kids have been fantastic - keeping their rooms spotless, helping with yardwork, etc. Thanks guys! You are all amazing!
The boys finished both of their baseball seasons. It was a great/long almost two month baseball season (every night of the week). Trent got some great hits in! Very proud of him. He did NOT want to play this Spring because he was worried about the faster pitching boys, but after loads of practice he was able to get a lot of great hits! Trevor finished his season officially with a parent/kid baseball game & then got to ride in the parade on Sat. evening. He LOVED it!!! His coach was awesome & taught the boys so much. We are really thankful for great parents that volunteer as coaches! Jacy finished up her hs golf season at districts. She did amazing! Finished up the year with a wonderful barbeque & awards party. She lettered again in golf & received her high GPA pin. Congrats jacy! She also has started her summer lifeguarding job & passed her 500 & all of her first aid exams with flying colors. She is excited to be back at work. Her summer hs soccer training starts a week after school gets out. The kids have 12 more days of school. Usually - I get anxious for the kids to get out of school earlier - like their school district days in UT, but the weather has been so crazy this year - I am enjoying that they do not get out of school until the middle of June. Because - the Fall weather in the hole is BEAUtifuL!!!! I am slowly converting to this school year.
Jacy had a wonderful Team Captain training leadership mtg at Seattle University with little Amanda. Steve & I enjoyed driving around University of Washington & window shopping! Got some great knobs for our Armour at Anthropologie. Trevor had a fantastic Space Derby at pack meeting (while Trent & I hit up everyone there to buy pizza coupons for a fundraiser for Trent's week long scout camp this summer).
Overall - life has given us so many blessings.

Sounds like Steve is looking for a new store. Hope something comes up that you will love, and your home sells. I've been surprised out here. Some go really fast, others slow. Good luck! Will be nice for y'all to rent so if a new store comes up then you can leave quick like you said and not worry. Where is he looking? Do y'all want to get back to Utah?
We thought long and hard about moving now that we no longer need to be here. Texas was #1 on my list as I was getting tired of winters! In the end, we just feel good staying here for now, and if we ever feel different then the company can relocate us. The girls also begged us not to move. They love their friends here, and say they would be so sad to leave. Plus, with a new baby coming, I just don't even want to think about moving. UGH!!! Such work, you're so good at moving though. Would your kids be OK moving? Seems like they have come to love it there.
Sounds like a busy, fun summer ahead for y'all! Have fun!
