I LOVE being a mother!

Being home for my kids, running them everywhere, feeding them, taking care of them & being their mom. I cannot express how much I adore my kids! We laugh, play, cry, work, hang out, laugh some more & just love being together. I love tucking my kids in at night, making sure they are safely home after hanging out with friends, watching them play sports, helping them with their homework, taking them shopping, hugging & kissing them. I have been a mom for 19 years & wouldn't change a single moment of being a mom to my amazing kids.

They are my world.

What a fabulous job - being a mom! It is so hard! But, so rewarding!

A BIG thank you to my hubby for helping my kids, teaching them to take care of their mother on Mother's day. Cooking breakfast, not fighting, giving me the sweetest gifts (which they usually make in school!), & taking care of me 110% on Mother's Day. Some Mother's Days are not very fun - work, 7:30 a.m. mtgs at the church, teaching lessons & then more mtgs. But, every Mother's Day - Steve gives me flowers, a card & is a wonderful example to our kids how to take care of a Mother. Thanks Steve!

The above & below pictures are of us helping Jacy & her exchange student program group making over 4800 tamales for their fund raiser. We helped Jacy all Fri. afternoon into the evening. Another SUPER big thanks to Mrs. Carver for stepping in & helping at the last minute. Jacy is still at the Junior High kitchen making tamales. WOW! What a fundraiser. The kids sold over 400 doz. tamales for this fundraiser. We all smelled like Masa last night - especially my hair!

We FINALLy finished planting the garden. Whew! It froze the other night & we were so grateful that we waited to put the garden in. The lone tomato plant I had planted - killed it deader then a door nail!

Cannot wait to pick fresh tomatoes, cucumbers, watermelon, pumpkins for this Fall, peas, radishes, corn & my fav. - new potatoes. YUMMY!!! Nothing better then fresh veg. out of the garden. Nothing!

There already is so much dust on the 2 1/2 acres of our property. NOT GOOD. We have already pulled out the big sprinklers to try soaking the track down. Ugh! It is going to be a long, hot, dry summer! I have a feeling.
