Baseball - A beautiful night for a game!

We are smack dab right in the middle of baseball season. There are games or practices Mon. night thru Fri. nights. The weather has been so windy (but that is the norm in the Spring up here). But, last nights game was nearly perfect. It was held about 40 min. away from our house & I just LOVE taking Trent to his games. We catch up & I really get some one on one talk with Trent. We talk & talk & talk about his friends, schoolwork, teachers, YM, etc. He really opens up & it is just Trent time. I LOVE it! Their team didn't do very well because some of the boys didn't even show up (you can tell that right when boys hit 12- on up, they become interested in other things! Girls, hanging with the boys & such. Trent has a fantastic coach & he has made some new friends.

Great job Trent! Now, we off again to the batting cages to practice more hitting. He had three hits on Monday night, but the pitcher was a little bit faster last night & he wanted to go practice some more. The weather is supposed to be FANTASTIC this week, mid 70's, lower 80's. Yummy!

This ump below was really into the game. If there was a foul ball behind him, the warming up batter had to run and pick it up & hand it to him. Cannot decide if he is lazy - or if that is what the boys are supposed to do? Hmmmm!

We are off to Seattle again this weekend. Jacy & little Amanda have a team captain leadership training mtg at Seattle University that the high school paid for. & we are going to a few of my Fav. stores - not Ikea! Still not enough room in my car for Ikea stuff! Gotta love it ! Have a wonderful, beautiful Weekend! I am off to get some more yardwork done!
