Kelcey is working, working, working - she heads back to college in the middle of April - so only about 3 more weeks till we leave to drive her & ALL of her new pots & pans & dishes & clothes back to school. A big thanks to Loren for storing her other stuff in Shelley for her!

thought I would post before leaving on spring break -

we are so EXCITED!!!!

We pick up the rv on Sat. & then we are off! We will be trying to leave town - to Seattle on Fri. - kids get out early, but leaving & getting out of the house are two very different things! the weather has been near perfect!!! Beautiful sunny days, mid 60's, blue skies - & time to work in the yard. Mowing, weeding, trimming the trees (ok - the whole ditch line, took days & days & piles & piles of tumbleweeds & branches. Massive fires burning everything down) trimming more trees & then digging out some flower beds that are filled to the rim with ground cover that has taken over the whole flower bed. My back & shoulders are very sore from digging & digging & clipping & clipping - but the yard is looking sharp! The kids really want a garden so we are prepping that area, will be building some container gardens & will be finishing the fire pit area. No wonder I am feeling a tad bit sore!!

Trevor finished up his last basketball tourney of the season. They did great & I was so excited to finish bb practices, but the weekend that Basketball finished - baseball started on that Mon. Trevor loves baseball, Trent is finding his way in baseball. He is finally hitting the ball much better (after loads of trips to the batting cages) - he gets nervous about hitting that fast pitch! But, I asked him if he can race a motorcycle with 30 riders on the starting gate - why is he nervous about one little ball?? HA!!

The boys have grown so fast - we just finishing buying Trent his third set of jeans for the school year. Both of the boys cleats are to small. Trent's cleats were a size 5 youth & now he is wearing a size 8 men's! WOW!! That is just in one season! His legs are just shooting up! He is as tall as Jacy, but when he rides in the car with Jacy he is a head shorter then her. His torso is shorter then Jacy, legs are LOOOOOONG!!!

Great news - Jacy & I interviewed (a little nervous!) for her exchange trip to Japan & she got the go ahead!

She leaves in July & will spend 10 days in Yonezowa, Japan. She is SOOOOOO EXCITED!!! Her Uncle Aaron & Uncle Loren (whom also served their lds missions in Japan, & Aaron & his wife Fiauna visited Japan a couple of years ago!) are so excited for Jacy. Uncle Aaron might just show up in Yonezowa & tour with Jacy's group!!! She flies into a airport near Tokoyo & then drives in Tokoyo, gets on the bullet train & then will arrive in Yonezowa. Her Spring is packed with auctions, fundraisers, & etc. etc. She is one busy girl. Her high school golfing is going GREAT!! She placed 8th in her tourney on Monday for the high schools in her region & got 15th out of 64 girls. She got a 94 at the hardest golf course in Washington & she used her 7 iron to accomplish it! She cracks us up!!

Her three wood broke at the start of her golf tourney last week - so she ended up using her 7 iron to tee off. Now she loves her 7 iron & she can hit it about 150 yards straight down the fairway. She has only been playing golf for a year & 1/2! Way to go - Jacy!!!

Her daddy is very proud!!!!!!!!!!

Well, I am off again. Rushing to get these pictures posted before our trip, pedicure, eyebrow waxing, hair coloring, packing, grocery shopping, YW, scouts, baseball practice, golf practice, soccer mtgs, Japan fundraisers, fix dinner & then it all starts over again tomorrow!

When we all fall into bed at night, exhausted every day - I am so thankful for my kids, husband, home, job, health, sunshine, work, play & laughter!!!!!
