a couple of days before steve & i left for our trip we took the boys to a soccer & football punt, pass, & kick. The hs girls soccer team helps with this city event & then the city will let them stay at Cascade park for their team campout. It works out really well & there are a TON of kids that turn out for it. Usually we are harassing the girls on the team (especially jacy!) but Jacy was in watching game videos & was not there to help the boys! :( We MISSed her! But, the boys did really well &
TRENT GOT a FIRST PLACE finish in the soccer section & will be receiving a medal at jacy's soccer game next week!

After the soccer & football activity we went to the pumpkin patch that the ffa students at the hs were sponsoring. The pumpkins there were a STEAL!! Here is Steve harassing the poor ffa girl because I told her that wal mart pumpkins were DOUBLE the price of the hs pumpkins. Steve is trying to compare pricing here & just got SMEARED by these cute students! The boys had a really fun time picking out their pumpkins. Trevor went right over to the perfect pumpkin, but it took Trent a while to find the PerfecT pumpkin!
We are having a wonderful time in San Diego! We got booted off the cruise because it was overbooked, BUT - we are so glad because there is a hurricane with LOADS of rain in Mexico RIGHT now! Whew!
We have been relaxing, shopping, shopping, & shopping - making our way through all the cute, adorable beach towns all down hwy 101. We also made it on the Jay Leno show (which was a BLAST!), got tickets for the dodgers vs phillies games & will attempt to get on the Price is Right show tomorrow! Wish us Luck!! We are enjoying every min. of our trip, buT miss the kids! They are busy with g&g Jones - running to scouts, basketball, soccer, school, homework, etc. etc. THANK YOU grandma & grandpa for taking such great care of the kids! Love you all!!
