Well, so the projects keep coming. Steve has been such a trooper & has helped so much. I HATE buying furniture because of the HUGE markup on it. We moved away from our favorite RC Willey worker - Sesly (she found us so many GREAT deals it was crazy fun!) & now we are back to trying to find bookcases, bedframes, side tables, shelves, etc. etc. without giving the furniture store two arms and a leg.

here comes the love - IKEA!

We love their prices, style, designs, patterns, & most especially their save money, put it together yourself attitude! We finally updated Trent's bed (gave the boys bunkbeds to the missionaries in our stake - i am sure they will be needed some eggshell cushions for those mattresses!). Got a queen bed for Trent & finally, finally, finally found the perfect bed frame for a tween boy that didn't break the bank! LOVE IT! Also, found some great side tables, bookcases for our office, brackets, fun loving pictures, maps, office supplies & repainted old items & found new uses for everything. Ahhhhhh, i love reorganizing. Getting those goodwill deductions on our taxes & making old things - new again.

the above two pictures are one of our last projects (till I get the bug again!) - found these adorable old skateboards at the FUNNEST store & just bought the bolts & nuts to make some cute shelves out of them for the boys room.

these bookshelves go almost to our 12 foot ceilings - baskets, totes, boxes are full of everything from material, crafts, photos, school work, church stuff, labels, bills, paper, binders, computer discs, computer games, & on & on & On. A Place for EVERY LITTLE BLASTED THING!

My favorite purchase - a HUGE map of the world. stars will be coming soon of places we have visited, the kids LOVE figuring out places.

When Steve said he liked this picture for our playstation room - snagged it. it looks so great above the denim couch. covers pretty much the length of the couch. Relaxing!

this was my favorite project - found this adorable frame & at first i was going to put chalkboard in it & then sheetmetal for a magnetic board, then magnetic chalkboard & then I finally settled on a cork board (MUCH cheaper then sheetmetal, less work then a sheetmetal board). (oops, just noticed my parents anniv. picture is upside down - we were trying for days to figure out which - top or bottom side looked best, forgot to switch the picture around!)

So - just a sample of the projects going on in the jones household.

Steve gets tired of my projects, but he LOVES me so he puts things together & i iron his pants, fix his meals & love him.
