Just a quick update.
Made our way to Pasco over the weekend. There was an arenacross (indoor motocross race = warm!!) that Steve & Josh raced in. Josh raced in five races & steve raced in four. It was a lot of fun. All of the boys LOVED hanging out & just talking race talk.
The highlight of the weekend was some kids asked for steve's autograph & while steve was racing in his final pit bike race the announcer was talking about steve. There were about 2000 people there & the announcer was going on & on about how old Steve was. How it is much harder to recover from crashing, the old bones don't work the same, how there were some 15 year olds at the race, & on & on. In the mean time Steve was coming down the whoops when he looked like he was going to lose it. Well, he did. He crashed a spectacular crash. The boys & I were rolling around in our seats, laughing & giggling. (steve was OKAY, skinned his elbow - but jumped right back on the pit bike & finished the race).
PRICELESS moments!
A really FUN, memorable Sat.
In the meantime Jacy was attending Sadie's with her date. Their group of 14 had dinner at our house & Kelcey, Chris were her waiters, helpers, servers, etc. She had a wonderful time (even when someone pulled the fire alarm during the dance & the fire dept. had to come over & evacuate the high school - memories!)
Will post pictures of her group as soon as Jordyn's mom gets them finished up. Pictures were also taken at our house.
Thanks Kelcey & Chris, also a big thank you to Jordyn's mom for helping with pictures.
This is the freestyle event - insane two guys that race up a ramp, fly through the air & then do crazy tricks on their motorcycles. Very cool to watch!

They are both flying through the air.
Here is the jump that the free style guys race up.

Josh & Steve were in the over 30 class & veterans class. This was their first race together. Pretty cool. Josh smeared Steve! HA!

Steve - sitting a little behind 441 at the beginning of his race.
Josh - it was really difficult getting shots inside the arena. Trent, Trevor & I were using almost every setting on the camera. Trying different angles, light adjustments, etc. It was fun getting to know what worked & didn't work inside with a lot of motion.
I really like these pictures with the blurry background & semi blurry bike & rider.
Trent & Trevor hanging out over where the bikes were parked, watching their dad & josh race.

STeve's aunt & uncle
We haven't seen them since 1996
Very FUN catching up with them
They only live 1/2 hour away from the tri city area.
Trent
the boys were so excited to get all of the rain & then have the big puddles freeze over.
They spent hours on the ice with Adam playing Frisbee hockey & regular hockey.
Well, another week has flown by. Steve has finished putting together the ikea item & I have been painting (with the girls help) old bookcases, re figuring items & rearranging.
Feels great to get organized, especially at the beginning of a new year.

new yeaRS DAy!! 2010 sledding & bowling & board games

New years day
bowling & sledding
doesn't get much better! Of course steve dragged us all into wal mart to do a little grocery shopping (he got an extra 10 percent off grocery side of the store so we had to STOCK up before his discount expired on sunday). We got some saucers (at Big 5 - where they were cheaper, plus wal mart was out of saucers). And, of course tubes wouldn't have work (& I wouldn't let steve bring out the 75 dollar tube he bought last year. Okay - it is an awesome tube that fits three people, but really - it would have popped!)
Jacy pulled the boys around on the saucer while steve & josh raced each other around the track, much laughter, catching air & pretty much acting like little boys on Christmas morning. Katie & I walked the dogs, took pictures & froze our fingers off trying to get pictures!
That evening we just hung out - played our new favorite board game - Ticket To Ride & ate goodies.
We had a WONDERFUl New Years!
Thanks Katie & Josh for sharing it with us.
Great memories!
Josh & Katie

trevor crashing & not getting up.
The boys were sore the next day from their crashes - but had a blast
Which is good - all of the snow is gone now. It has been raining & raining. Today is the first sunny day in a while & there are huge puddles everywhere. The snow does not last long up here in the hole!

I cannot even express how much Steve loves these pictures of all of his AIR he gets on the jumps. He is one proud daddy!
Josh on Steve's pit bike - also catching some air! HA!
LOVE these pictures with the snow background & colors. The competition is fierce here!
Just like at the bowling alley!

Jacy is such a great big sister. She will just keep driving around and around and around till the boys are either too cold or Jacy's fingers are frozen.
THANK YOU Jacy!

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2010 fireworks & running for cover!

WOW - cannot believe it is 2010!!!
We had a fabulous 2009, the time flies so quickly.
Trials & good times, frustrations & happiness
family, friends, laughter & love
What a wonderful 2009!
Our one goal for 2010 is to be happy
stay positive & keep the spirit of Christ in home all year round. That is a BIG goal, but really, how hard is it to be positive! Look at the glass as 1/2 full, positive things in any situation, say thank you, - please & love.
attitude is everything! So here comes 2010 - already started with a bang!
Fun times, laughter, family, food & more fun.
We missed going to St George - everyone stayed at Greg's hotel & hung out
AHHHHHH - but, we stayed busy & had a blast with Josh & Katie over the weekend. Got some wonderful phone calls from Steve's BFF - Brady, got to talk with Melissa - miss you guys soooooo much!!! More phone calls from family & friends. Couldn't ask for a better New Years!
hOPE ALL OF YOU all had a WONDerfuL New Years!
Of COURse Steve had some awesome fireworks going on at midnight - that is after our firework kiss!!!!
We all had to duck for cover several times & kelcey singed her leg with a firework that shot right at us all!
FUN TIMES!!!
CrazY Steve! The BOYS love fireworks & their crazy dad!!!

Tina LOVES LOVES LOVES LOVES fireworks - which I don't get, she hates the central air vacuum & our kirby vacuum. Hates the broom or any household tool that cleans. BUT, she will run up to the firework, grab it in her mouth & will burn her mouth because she LOVES fireworks so much!
We have to put her on a lease because we are all worried she will burn the whole inside of her mouth. She barks the entire time!!
CRAZY tinA!!
Kelcey & Chris

Trevor - enjoying his favorite pastime!
