Beautiful day, birthday, and basketball. 3 b's.

It has been such a whirlwind last month. We have been so busy, hard to find a spare moment where I can post on the blog. We are on the less-then-two-week countdown till spring break and are finalizing plans for our trip. Steve's cousin is a editor for "The Closer" sitcom on TV and we will be staying with him and his family in LA during the week and 1/2 on vacation. We are excited to go to Disneyland for a couple of days with his family and Steve has also signed up for a golf tournament with his cousin and some exec.'s that work with Craig. We also found a fantastic hotel on Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco and will be visiting a huge farmers market there, the wharf, Golden Gate Bridge and many other fantastic spots along the trip. We also will be driving from LA, past Malibu beach, Ventura etc. along the coast up hwy 1 to San Francisco. I am so excited. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the coastal hwy and all of the fantastic spots we will be able to see. Now, if we can just get on the road without any mishaps. This weekend is the first weekend since before basketball started that we haven't been at a tournament or motorcycle races. We were able to get our bikes out yesterday (Trent got a new mtn bike for his birthday) and we were outside riding our bikes in the beautiful Spring weather.

A little update. Jacy received an Alumni scholarship to go to USU this Fall. She just signed up for housing (Kelcey, McKenzie and his friend checked out housing for her) and she is getting so excited to start school this Fall. She also received a Legacy Alumni Scholarship to attend USU and we are excited that she will have some financial help to attend school. She is thinking about applying for a RA position to help out with housing also. She is trying to save up her money for next summer and would love to apply to go to Scotland for a month, earn 12 credits and take a photograph class. She is currently knee deep in golf and there was a fantastic article in the front page of the local newspaper about her team and the positive influence Jacy has had on the team. She is currently placed in the top 25 of all of the schools in the district. We are very proud of her. She is also spending every spare minute working at Dominoes and has applied as a head life guard at the pool. She finished presenting her senior project at school about her exchange trip to Japan and passed her project. Whew! We are excited for her to start her fun filled life of college! We know she will do great!
The boys are just BOYS! They drive me crazy. They have both started baseball - so we didn't even get one week off to rest between basketball and baseball. Trent is currently tutoring three students at school and is on the honor roll. We are so proud of him. He has worked so hard on his grades and is a great leader in his school. Trent is getting faster and faster on his motorcycle and on his birthday we spent the day in Richland at a huge race. Trent got the wholeshot in both races, but hurt is wrist the weekend before the races, practicing and his wrist was hurting on the day of the race. (Steve took first place in the old man's class!) Trevor is smarty pants Trevor. He gets 100% on every spelling test, A's in every subject and loves to READ! He LOVES school. Great job boys! Just trying to get a little bit caught up. Last time I tried to get caught up I just got the title on the blog and then got interrupted and couldn't get anything else posted. Hopefully you all have a great week or month!!! Beautiful SUnset leaving the races in Richland.
Happy 14th birthday Trent. Trent is now a teacher! He is growing up so fast! We LOVE you Trent bent!

The last basketball tournament of the season. The boys took 4th place in this tournament. The are sitting here taking a time-out. What a fantastic team.

Spring has sprung. I Love it when the tulips pop up. Every year they are in the ground and then - they just pop right out of the ground. Cannot wait till they bloom.

I am trying to get Steve to bring our bikes on our trip to bike around our hotels and beaches, but we always worry that the bikes will get stolen off the rack on our car. We'll see if they make it this year.
Well, have a great week. Hope all of your lives are moving along with peace and happiness.
Love the jones family

That is great news for Jacy! She will have so much fun at USU.

Have a fun trip. Sounds like it will be great fun. Jer's sister lives in SF and goes to the Farmer's Markets. She loves them! You will have a great time. I head that way in April and am so excited. So many fun things to do there.
