So, finally got the shelf done! I LOVE it! Turned out so cute. Steve was putting together a second shelf when he smacked his finger so hard, took a strip of skin off - had to put that second shelf on hold till Steve's finger heals. He was not Happy! The family helped with house cleaning chores this weekend & we have been burning more tumbleweeds, garbage & tree clippings. The boys raced around the yard on their motorcycles & all-in-all was a wonderful, beautiful weekend.
Thanks to the three kids for all of their help & Steve for pitching in. Helping hands always makes the job easier!
Jacy finally spent her Christmas money from G&G jones (thank you - she said!) - a new case for her iphone. She was so excited! She also got her letter from Parks & Rec. for lifeguarding this summer. She cannot wait to work on the flowrider again & watch more swimsuits fly off! HA! JK!
Steve is dragging me to the motorcycle shop (which I don't mind, getting dragged that is - I drag him to a lot of stores he doesn't jive with too! Love you Steve!) a lot!! Seems like every time the weather warms up - wham- loose parts, screws, flat tubes, BENT rims! But, I think the BENT rim was because steve crashed twice on his pit bike & the rim became bent. Hmmmmmmm!
New beginnings is Wed. & we are excited for another fun filled night. It is always a lot of work - but after tears, music that sooths my soul & inspirational speakers - it is always a wonderful night. Well, off again!
