WOW - cannot believe summer break is almost over!!

What a FUN summer.

We have all had a blast this summer. It has been so busy with vacations, relatives, reunions, swimming, parties, friends, family, work, barbecues, new friends, more family,etc. etc. etc.

We are all bummed about the upcoming school year.

But, excited for new beginnings, new friends, HOMEWORK - yup! And - more family, holidays, more vacations, WORK, etc. etc.

After working in the yard all morning we decided to play all afternoon in the yard.

Jacy made it on the varsity hs soccer team!!!

The team had a campout Fri. night. Jacy LOV Es hanging out with the girls, doesn't love the 6 mile run at 6 a.m.

Especially after getting rained on from midnight till 6 a.m.

All the girls were on a tarp - not in tents.

She got SOAKED, but had a blast!

Slept for about 5 hours on Sat. after getting home.

HA!! HA!! This was so funny.

The kids went ice blocking at the park & then decided that the slide would be fun to ice block down. Trent did some amazing flips when he hit the bottom of the slide - or the block of ice slide right out from underneath them. Very funny!

Jacy couldn't move her thighs - squats in the gym with her soccer team. AHHH! I HATE squats! She could get into the car, could not get out of the car! Poor girl!

She couldn't get the block of ice to go very fast!

Trent would haul down the hill - he loved it!

Trevor was soaking we from sweat - pushing the ice back up the hill & then wet from sitting, laying & hugging the block of ice - he had a blast!

The boys have been having the time of their lives out in their fort they created. I LOVE their rules above! Trent got sick of taking trips into the house, garage & back yard to get stuff for his fort - so he made some rules!

I LOVE summer! But, Fall is coming & I LOVE Fall!!
The flowers are trying to squeeze every little bit from these dog days of summer.

They also informed me that Jerry the cat had peed in their bathroom & then I had to yell at them to NOT pee in the bathroom in their fort - to come into the house & pee!

The weather is nearly perfect for these last days of summer. In the upper 90's & beautiful.

We are off to back to school night, registration for school, school supply shopping & Jacy has her first game this Sat. in Post Falls Idaho. Then off to Silverwood (a theme park) with the team & then leave on Sunday - Idaho with Kelcey. AHHHHHHH!!! We sent for our passports (to also have them for the winter Olympics in Canada!) are getting excited for a vacation in Oct.! Yup - life never slows down.
