Rd. to Hana. Beautiful! A little piece of heaven on earth!

We all loved the different shacks & stores that ran along the Hana Hwy. So funky & cute!
Beautiful flowers - this one was my favorite.
We kept passing this blue flowered tree. But, of course we couldn't get Steve to slow down for a photo. He had to get back to the beaches & boogie boarding. This picture was taken going about 30 mph - turned out to be a great shot.
The colors of the homes against the jungle backdrop was hard to resist. So cute.
There are so many beautiful waterfalls.
Another potty break. We kept drinking way to many diet pepsi's & diet cokes!!
Kelcey died & went to picture heaven! She wanted to stop everywhere & take 20 shots of just one waterfall. She was so cute - snapping pictures left & right.
Some more beautiful flowers.
Beautiful old churches in the jungle.
Again - the colors of the homes, sheds, churches. So unique against the jungle backdrop.
This is black beach. James, Owen & Syd went into the lava surge cave & climbed up through an opening in the ceiling. The sand was black on this beach - from the lava.
Jacy & Trent in the lava surge cave.
Steve snapped this picture for Melinda. She was our safety guide. 20/20 informant, etc.
The boys collected some sand here for their jars.
We ate our pb&J's under this tree.
A self-service fruit stand.
Jacy, Trevor, Trent & Kelcey at one of the waterfalls state parks.
Big, beautiful leaves everywhere!

This is the half way point to Hana. Yummy banana bread & shaved ice. The Mango shaved ice was heavenly.
Beautiful! And then James had to destroy the landscape. Yes - one to many beverages!

James was in one car with all the kids - & they all loved it!
We all survived the rd. to Hana. What an amazing experience!

Again, I love all the pictures. You have a great camera. I'm thinking Steve and James had tons of fun together. They seem like 2 Peas in a Pod.

We enjoyed the pictures. Everything looks beautiful. The Wilson's should be heading home today. We'll be in SLC next week and stay as long as David needs us.
