Part 3 - hanging with the family

I'm working my way backwards on this trip. When looking at the pictures I realized how much fun we had. We hung out with my sister Heather her husband Jason and their cute four girls. We went to City Creek shopping one day and then went swimming in bountiful another day. Met up with Melinda, Steve's sister and three of their kids. It was super hot all week in Farmington. Hitting 100 degrees. Perfect swimming weather. Near heathers house they are building a huge shopping complex and there are some nice fun stores that we hung out at also. We made Zucchini boats - the topless Ariel won the boating contest! We met our friends Brady and Melissa and adorable Xerika at Crown Burger for lunch. They were flying to AZ the next morning. We had a great time catching up with them. Also we went to a barbecue with our friends from college the Boudreaux's. They have four kids exactly our kids ages. Their son had just left on his mission and their oldest is engaged. So much fun seeing them. Oh and delicious food! So much fun! The vacation has finally hit today. Yesterday was chuck full of mowing, laundry, weeding and one sore foot. We had a friendly family game of soccer two nights with my brothers family and heathers family and the second night I Jammed one toe and broke my pinky toe. It is bruised up half my ankle and so so sore still. I'm sure walking and working and not resting it hasn't helped any. We also had a really great time celebrating gayla's birthday at Maddox. Yummy food, the best rolls and fun conversation! Well more pictures. Enjoy my cute nieces. They are adorable!!! Oh and it is fair, rodeo, and derby week!!! Love summertime!
